This is not an initial blog post …

I would prefer to not make an Initial Blog Post. I want it to be as if I’ve been blogging forever and this is just another entry in a long chain.

But time being what it is, I have no choice.

I do write fiction though, so I could begin in medias res, as writers are supposed to do. So there is no boring exposition in the beginning, but just a jump into the action.

I wish I could think of a way to do that!

So: I hope to post weekly at first, and we’ll see how I do at that while also writing and coping with all the beginnings and endings that this time of year has brought with it. I’d like to blog about writing, about science fiction and fantasy, and about things I see along the way.

I’m looking forward to the experience!
